Are you ready to get back to crafty getaways? Are you a Lawn Fawn Super Fan who just can't get enough of Lawn Fawn? Have you ever wondered what it would be like to spend the day immersed in all things Lawn Fawn, including shopping out of their warehouse?
We are so excited to be back and can't wait to see you!!
About the Event
It's Always An Adventure is excited to announce we are once again partnering with Lawn Fawn and we have a fun filled adventure planned for you!
Your adventure starts Friday evening at the Marriott Irvine in Irvine, California and continues all day Saturday. This is a new hotel for this event and we think you are going to love it. We moved so we can accommodate even more Lawn Fawn Super Fans!
Your adventure at the hotel will include a Welcome Reception, a swag bag, 5 hours of classes featuring all kinds of Lawn Fawn with 2 awesome instructors, a trip by luxury coach from the hotel to the Lawn Fawn warehouse, lunch provided at the hotel and will finish with a catered dinner with dessert and PRIZES!!!!
Welcome Reception
Your adventure kicks off Friday evening with a welcome reception at the hotel where you will have the opportunity to mingle with other Lawn Fawn Super Fans after picking up your registration materials and swag bag. While enjoying a tasty treat or two, you can participate in make-n-takes. You will also have the opportunity (if you wish) to swap your Lawn Fawn card creations with others.
Friday Evening Card Swap Details
As part of the Friday evening Welcome Reception, we will be having a voluntary handmade card swap/exchange. What is that? you ask! A great way to inspire and be inspired by others and maybe win a prize! The idea is to have fun and meet new crafty friends, so, it is up to you whether or not you participate.
The rules are simple:
- Cards must be handmade featuring your favorite Lawn Fawn products.
- Everyone that is participating will turn in a sample of their card for display and get ready to share.
- There is no minimum or maximum number of cards to make – the number you bring (less one) is the number you will swap and bring home with you.
More details will be available closer to the event.
About the Classes
Wake up Saturday morning to enjoy a Lawn Fawn filled day at the hotel. We are excited that Rebecca Kaufmann is returning as an instructor and that Jenn Shurkus will be joining us this year! In each class you will create unique fun & lively cards using Lawn Fawn's latest cute stamps, versatile dies and adorable papers and embellishments.
About the Instructors
Rebecca Kauffman is Kelly Marie’s right hand woman at Lawn Fawn HQ! She helps with the creative process, filming videos and cards, as well as designing their super amazing interactives. She can be seen (or heard) in different classes that Lawn Fawn is apart of! Rebecca is a HUGE dog lover, enjoys supporting her daughter’s waterpolo games, and also does some fun felt crafting as a hobby. She is their resident New Yorker and her favorite sets are Critters in the Burbs and Out of this World.
Jenn Shurkus has been papercrafting for over 20 years and has held multiple positions in the paper craft industry including, independent store manager, designer, and teacher. She has been teaching Lawn Fawn classes since 2012 and in 2014 began teaching classes with Kelly Marie at most of the industry trade shows in-person and virtually. When she isn't teaching online and in-person classes, you can find Jenn with her toes in the sand at her favorite Cape Cod beach or snuggling her kitties, Mister Harley, Gus and Jac.
Bus Trip to Warehouse
The third activity of the day will take you by luxury coach from the hotel to the Lawn Fawn warehouse where you will be greeted by Kelly Marie Alvarez, owner and operator of Lawn Fawn. She will take you on a tour of the warehouse where you will get an opportunity to see all their goodies in one place. Their awesome staff will lead you through a fun Make-n-Take. Finally, you will have over an hour to shop out of their warehouse!
Lawn Fawn On-Site
Friday evening and most of Saturday, we will have the Lawn Fawn goodies used in the classes on-site at the hotel in case you miss them on your tour.
Saturday Lunch
New this year!! The Marriott Irvine does not have many lunch choices close by, so, this year we are offering lunch as part of your adventure to allow you the opportunity to spend more time with other Lawn Fawn Super Fans in a relaxed setting.
Saturday Night Dinner
Finish off your day with a catered dinner back at the hotel where you can spend the evening reliving your adventures with friends, both new and old. There might even be a prize or two!
Lodging
We have reserved a block of rooms at the Marriott Irvine for only $189.00/night plus tax.

We have negotiated a self-parking rate of $20.00 plus tax, per day, per vehicle for all attendees.
This property is less than 2 miles from the John Wayne/Orange County airport and offers transfers from the airport. Guests must contact the property with arrival details before travel, using the contact information on the booking confirmation.Cancellation Policy
We are sorry, but we are unable to accept cancellations for this event. However, if you cannot attend, you have the option of finding someone to take your place. You must report any changes to us as soon as possible so we can keep our guest list up-to-date. In the event you are not able to find someone to take your place, you can have your class materials and swag bag mailed to you for an additional fee. We will contact you after the event to arrange payment. Thank you for your consideration.
Deposit Policies
- A $169 ($159 with Early Bird Pricing) non-refundable deposit is required to hold your spot for the event.
- The balance due must be paid no later than 45 days prior to the event start date.
- Grace Period: registrants are allowed a 10-day grace period to pay the balance due. However, a $25 late fee will be assessed.
- An email will be sent approximately 60 days prior to the event with instructions for making the final payment.

We will provide you with a detailed supply list closer to the event. This list will most likely include:
- Scissors (make sure to only include in checked luggage)
- Tape Runner
- Liquid Adhesive
- Foam Tape on a Roll
- Pencil
- Score Tool
